MTV Snow Jam Announced for Falls Creek

Ruby Rose (pictured) will be dropping in at Falls Creek for the MTV Snow Jam.
MTV Snow Jam is back for another year, and this time, we're taking it local.
On Thursday 30 July, Falls Creek Victoria will host the hottest acts that are sure to warm your icy appendages, including internationally acclaimed acts Cut Copy DJs and rapper Phrase.
For the last two years, MTV Snow Jam has braved the frost bitten extremities of New Zealand's South Island to bring you unforgettable performances from Lupe Fiasco, Savage and Mareko, The Mint Chicks, The Vines, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Grates, The Potbelleez, Cut Off Your Hands, P-Money, PNC, David Dallas, Opshop, Trouble Andrew and Phinesse, all to the incredible backdrop of clear skies and snow-flanked mountains.
Rebecca Batties, General Manager, Music Brands, MTV Networks Australia and New Zealand said; "MTV Snow Jam mashes great music with some unique winter sports in a spectacular location.
"This year, for the first time, we are bringing Snow Jam home to Australia to showcase the beautiful landscape of Victoria's Falls Creek. With the help of local acts, DJ's and Phrase, it will be an unforgettable MTV event."
Falls Creek has an international reputation for staging world class 'freeride' events and tied with MTV's Snow Jam will create an electric atmosphere. "We're expecting over 4,000 people to head to Falls Creek to see the Snow Jam concert spectacular", Callahan continued.
MTV Snow Jam will be held directly in front of the recently opened Quay West Resort & Spa Falls Creek, Australia's only ski-in, ski-out, 5-star alpine resort and spa.
Located at the base of the main ski runs of Falls Creek, The Alta Restaurant at the Quay West Resort & Spa will be the venue offering celebrities, performers and assorted VIPs uninterrupted views of the valley, mountains, ski fields and of course the action packed show that will be MTV Snow Jam.
MTV Snow Jam will air on MTV Australia Saturday 15 August at 5pm so lock it in!
